Galaxy Postcard

This depiction of the Andromeda Galaxy was done for a Professional Freelance assignment for Sky and Telescope magazine. The final illustration is a multimedia piece of this watercolor and another combined to depict the author of the article we were illustrating. The author appears as a constellation and the Andromeda Galaxy is his heart.

Water Postcard

A watercolor painting of the Danvers River at dusk. This is the third promotional postcard mailer painting for my portfolio.

Beneath the Dragon Editorial

This watercolor painting was done for an ILIV assignment in Scott Bakal's class at MassArt. The author of the article was suffering from postpartum depression and felt the presence of a dragon on her shoulders. She suffered from insomnia, so I wanted to communicate that feeling at night when you're eyes play tricks on you and you're not sure if what you see is real or not.

Promotional Postcard

This watercolor painting is going to serve as one of three in a series of promotional mailer postcards for my portfolio. My subject for the three in this series is dramatic lighting situations.

Brandeis Magazine Cover Illustration

This piece was for Brandeis Magazine from Professional Freelance class at MassArt. The feature article we worked on displayed the care for the Earth that students at the Heller School possessed. This watercolor helps to visually describe this concept.
